HKSYU’s Department of Journalism and Communication organizes a series of activities under the theme of “Development Orientation Day”. These activities aim to 1) transfer knowledge for the benefit of the community, 2) showcase the power of visual communication, 3) promote interdisciplinary development, and 4) introduce practices on teaching and research.

Events including:
i) Tin Ka Ping Foundation-sponsored “Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage and IPMAN Ving Tsun”: Release of project results and award-presentation ceremony

ii) Interdisciplinary collaboration with the Department of Journalism and Communication

iii) Premiere of “Boundless: Chinese Martial Arts”, themed documentary of “Chinese Martial Arts and Sports Culture Communication”

iv) Department of Journalism and Communication releases study findings: “Social media addiction, coping strategies and psychological wellbeing of Hong Kong citizens”
